After School Activities
Worthington PTA sponsors after-school activities which provide academic enrichment or artistic exploration opportunities for students. After School Activities Guidelines
WOES PTA requires that a parent volunteer be designated for each after-school activity. The parent volunteer will need to arrive at the class 15 minutes prior to the dismissal and stay until all children have been picked up. Volunteers may bring siblings. Multiple parents may share this role. If there are no volunteers to sign up, the after-school volunteer coordinator will contact each parent to schedule one-week assignments. If there aren’t enough volunteers for coverage, the activity will be cancelled.
• Children may bring a peanut-free snack to be eaten in the cafeteria between 4:00-4:15 (before class starts)
• Please send in a note for your child’s teacher to let them know they will be participating in an after school activity.
• Registration is accepted on a first come, first served basis
• Each class has a minimum and maximum number of students. If the minimum is not met, the class will be cancelled. You will be contacted if the class is cancelled.
